Chapter 11 - How did we get here

This chapter will deal with the WSR Board machinations that delivered the Railway into the hands of an unpleasant dictatorial regime.  It is a complex story with several strands and many lessons for heritage railways and not-for profit organisations more widely.  It will need a careful and accurate timeline.

This is an exceptionally busy period for me, both in terms of ordinary legal work and briefeing parliamentarians on a forthcoming debate, so ‘The Roostery’ will have to take a back seat for a couple of weeks.  But never fear, we will be back before the end of June.
